The Arms Preservation Inc. VCI .30cal Ammo Can Liner was designed to offer a form fit to the Mil-Spec - 30 Cal 7.62 Ammo Can so that no internal storage space is lost. Factory boxed cartridges may remain in the packaging as long as the tray inside is made from hard plastic and not foam. Loose ammo can simply be placed in the liner with no additional preparation required. Combining the ammo cans' heavy-duty gasket with the .30cal Ammo Can Liner helps create a controlled microenvironment full of anti-corrosion chemistry that can provide corrosion prevention for five years or longer depending on use.
Because VCI technology leaves no residues behind, ammunition powder and primers are safe and will remain dry inside the A.P.I. Ammo Can Liner. Also safely store reloading equipment, magazines, and firearm spare parts inside the ammo can liner. Desiccant packs and oxygen absorbers can be used in combination with Arms Preservation Inc. Bags however, are not necessary and should never be placed in direct contact with metal surfaces.
